I got an insanely high score and that was not okay. It felt like if I survived long enough and got into a groove I could keep racking up the points- this was not good.
Changes include:
- Made the curve of meteor spawn frequency and meteor speed linear, not exponential.
- Added meteor mass variance as a difficulty control.
- Made it so meteor spawn frequency caps out at 2 meteors per second around 2.75 minutes into a run.
- Made it so meteor maximum speed caps out at 5 pixels per frame at around 6 minutes into a run.
- Made it so meteor mass variance caps out at 2 potential extra units per meteor at around 8.33 minutes into a run.
